If Esperanto is the most popular international auxiliary language, it does not mean that one should choose it. The creator of Esperanto did not have the necessary linguistic knowledge, and therefore the language itself is bad. It has a lot of invented endings, suffixes and words. In addition, new words are created from these invented and twisted international words, for which there is no equivalent in any other national language. I am not even talking about the same arbitrarily created letters with circumflexes. In a word, the language is terribly created linguistically, which causes great difficulties in learning and even more so in using it.
In my opinion at the moment the best auxiliary language available is Novial. I advise you to familiarize yourself with this project. It also has a lot of bugs, but unfortunately they haven't come up with a better one yet. So I think there is no perfect language for international relations. And this has to be corrected, because the need is already there.
Thanks for the tip! I was familiar with a whole range of planning languages, but I didn't know Novial yet. Of all of them, Esperanto is the best known and most widely used. Personally, I don't want to delve any further into the subject, but stay on the surface with English. That's hard enough for me.
